The Reagan Story — Born in the Waves, Built on Vibes

Those Salty Summers That Started It All

Between 1990 and 2000, every summer meant one thing: the French Atlantic coast. Surf spots, kite zones, skating down the seafront, salt in the air, and wind in our faces. We’d cruise for fresh bread on a Van Van motorbike or a longboard, spend all day on the beach, then grill under the stars with music, laughter, and friends.

A Brand Shaped by Memories

Around me, friends were launching their own chill local clothing brands. And me? I kept dreaming of creating something too—something that captured those moments. A brand to carry the scent of the sea, the joy of endless summers, the laid-back beach life. Colors, feelings, that California state of mind.
The name Reagan? A throwback to the ‘80s—pure retro soul, warm and wild.

From Dream to Drop

The brand was registered all across Europe in 2004. No social media back then—just word of mouth, community, and a slow build with heart.
At the same time, I was working at Samsonite, the global leader in luggage. I helped develop sales for computer cases, the Starck collection, B2B, I was also riding the wave of sales for our Lacoste bag license—learning the ropes, meeting big players, and stacking experience.Those years, and those marketing meetings with the croc, gave me the push I needed to bring out what had always been there: the shark.

Sharky Makes His Splash

He was there from the beginning—hidden in the logo, just a lone fin. But in early 2020, Sharky surfaced. And he came in hot.
Now, front and center, he’s become the heart of the brand. A salty little legend, bold and bitey, and the collections started to take off.

Reagan x Shark, 2.0 Vibes

The brand has been based in Nice since 2006, quietly dropping tees, caps, and good vibes. In late 2024, we gave the website a major refresh. Then came Spring 2025—Reagan x Shark was born, with a brand new look and a clear mission:
To grow. To ride. To never take ourselves too seriously, because that’s not us. And with Sharky now fully unleashed, trust us—he’s only just begun.
